Routt County Humane Society’s Wellness Clinic offers a variety of services, including:

  • Spay and Neuter Surgeries (Call for current grant funded programs.)
  • Preventative Care – Examinations, Vaccinations, Dewormer, Disease Testing
  • Common Services – Gastrointestinal, Ear Infections, Skin and Allergy, Eyes
  • Dentistry
  • Digital Radiology
  • Euthanasia and Cremation
  • Health and Travel Certificates
  • Minor Illnesses/Injuries
  • Diagnostics – Bloodwork, Urinalysis, X-Rays
  • Second Opinions and Referrals

Notice:

For the safety of your pet and our other patients, all animals should be current on their core vaccines at time of surgery. For dogs this includes Rabies and DA2PP (Distemper/Parvo), and for cats Rabies and FVRCP.

If you cannot provide a current record of these vaccinations we would be happy to update your pet’s vaccines at the time of surgery.

*If proof is not received, surgery will be rescheduled, or we will administer the vaccinations and you will be responsible for the cost.

Dental and Other Surgical Services

An appointment with the veterinarian will be required to examine your pet and assess the surgical work or dentistry required prior to making the appointment for surgery. Please note overnight boarding services are not available.

Office Appointment Fees

Doctor’s visits are available by appointment and are currently available on Monday and Wednesday afternoons and Friday mornings; a $45 office appointment fee applies. Surgeries and dentistry are scheduled on Thursdays. Please call 970-457-8002 to schedule an appointment.
