Community Wellness Clinic
Routt County Humane Society (RCHS) and its team of dedicated animal welfare professionals provide quality and compassionate veterinary care to shelter animals while also offering affordable veterinary care to community-owned pets. Recognizing the growing need in Routt County as well as surrounding communities for reasonably priced veterinary care, RCHS has opened a community Wellness Clinic to promote the overall health and well-being of our four-legged friends. The RCHS Wellness Clinic can provide your pet with a lifetime of good health and can be there when your furry friend is sick or has minor injuries. The revenue generated by the RCHS Wellness Clinic directly supports the mission of RCHS by funding health care for homeless and abused animals.
We require payment in full at the time of the service rendered. Cash, major credit cards and CARE credit are accepted. We do have limited access to grants and other funding sources for patrons who qualify financially; however, our fees for services are already significantly discounted and available to all pet owners!
*Emergency services are not provided.
If your pet is experiencing an emergency, please reach out to our local veterinary community for assistance.

Missed Appointment Times
We make every effort to value your time and we schedule your appointment time just for you. We truly appreciate your courtesy of giving us 24 hours’ notice if you have a conflict with your appointment and need to schedule a different day or time. We are committed to your pet’s health. Keeping your scheduled appointments allows us to be partners in your pet’s veterinary care. It is our philosophy to continue to put our patients first and to make your experience a positive one.
If you miss the appointment and do not call-in 24 hours before your appointment, you will need to prepay for the office visit when rescheduling. If the services provided to your pet are through our grant programs, you will not be eligible for the subsidized services. We want to ensure that we can see all patients that need our help, and when appointments are not kept, especially for surgical procedures, other pets needing our services cannot be accommodated! Thank you for your understanding. Please let us know if you have any questions.
