RCHS Receives $10,000 Matching Donation for Veterinary Equipment Fundraiser

The Routt County Humane Society (RCHS) is thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our fundraising efforts for essential veterinary equipment. With immense gratitude, we share that we have raised an impressive $29,667, thanks to the unwavering support and generosity of our community. This achievement brings us close to reaching the halfway point of our $60,000 goal.

The urgency for acquiring this equipment stems from our steadfast commitment to providing top-tier care to animals in need. With these vital tools, RCHS can continue to deliver quality care to shelter animals and operate our affordable community wellness clinic effectively, ensuring their health and well-being.

The specific veterinary equipment urgently required includes:
  • Laboratory Equipment (Chemistry Analyzer, Procyte One Hematology Analyzer, Vet Lab Station): Crucial for conducting in-house tests and screenings to aid in accurate diagnoses.
  • Ultrasound Machine: Essential for precise and timely diagnostics, currently outsourced, impacting cost, scheduling efficiency, and timely treatment.
In an exciting development, we are thrilled to announce that RCHS has received a generous $10,000 matching donation. This means that every dollar donated from here on will be matched, effectively doubling the impact of your contribution.

We urgently appeal to our community to help us bridge the remaining gap and raise the funds needed to acquire this essential equipment. Contributions of any size can be made through our website, www.routthumane.org, or by mailing a check to RCHS, PO Box 772080, Steamboat Springs, CO, 80477. Every donation, now matched dollar-for-dollar, plays a critical role in ensuring the health and happiness of countless needy animals in our care.

RCHS extends our sincerest thanks to our community for its unwavering dedication to animal welfare. With this generous matching donation, we can continue to make a tangible difference in the lives of Routt County’s animals, creating a brighter and healthier future for them all.
