The Routt County Humane Society (RCHS) is excited to announce its partnership with local pet subscription box company Three Yellow Dogs for this year’s Holiday Adopt-a-thon, from Nov. 15 through Dec. 15, 2024. As part of this initiative, Three Yellow Dogs will donate $50 for every animal adopted, making it an ideal time for families to open their hearts and homes to a four-legged friend, just in time for the holiday season.
The Holiday Adopt-A-Thon combines the joy of pet adoption with the spirit of giving, presents a unique opportunity to bring joy to new pet owners and animals, and aligns with Yampa Valley Gives Day and Year-End Giving efforts. Each adoption helps bolster the Routt County Humane Society’s ability to provide lifesaving services to animals in need.
“Yampa Valley Gives Day is a pivotal time for nonprofits across our community, and thanks to Three Yellow Dogs, RCHS is able to offer an extra meaningful way to support the organization while also finding homes for our animals,” said Elaine Hicks, Executive Director.
This year, Yampa Valley Gives Day will take place on Dec. 10, 2024. For those community members who can’t adopt but want to support the organization with a year-end gift, donations can be made at routthumane.org/cogives.
