The Yampa Valley is a tight-knit community of friendly residents with a strong community spirit. By supporting local nonprofits in the Yampa Valley, we support our friends, neighbors, and future generations who will carry this legacy of commitment forward. This year, join your Yampa Valley neighbors on Colorado Gives Day as they come together to help Routt County Humane Society save lives like Norman and serve our community. Every donation helps us to increase our impact and receive a portion of the $1.4 million incentive fund.

It is because of supporters like you that RCHS is able to continue to save lives, such as Norman. Norman was brought in to RCHS by the Sheriff’s Department at just three months old after he was found abandoned at the base of Rabbit Ears Pass. Given his age, where he was found, and the severity of his underlying medical conditions, including a recently broken tibia, it was clear that Norman had been abandoned and left to fend for himself. Thanks to donors like you, RCHS was able to get Norman the medical care he so desperately needed. After months of recovery and waiting, he has finally found the furever family that he deserves.
